Top 5 Revolution Beauty Dupes

Revolution Beauty, formerly Makeup Revolution, is one of my favourite budget beauty brands. Revolution are a cruelty free, British, makeup, skincare and haircare brand currently sold in Superdrug and Ulta Beauty. Their products are both affordable and great quality and they also carry some amazing 'dupes' for many luxury beauty items. Today I am excited to share with you my top 5 favourite beauty dupes from the brand.

Let's start with the very controversial Anastasia Subculture Palette. You may remember when this was released there was an uproar in the beauty community. The shadows were said to be powdery and patchy when applied which led to Anastasia apologising and issuing refunds to those who complained. I believe that the formula was then changed and the new palettes are much more like the formula we know and love! If you love the shades in the Subculture palette but are reluctant to spend £43 on an eyeshadow palette, give the Revolution Iconic Reloaded palette a try. The shades are very similar and the formula is pretty good too. The only shade I wasn't over the moon with was the light green metallic shade which I found a bit lacking in pigmentation.
Revolutions Conceal and Define concealer is a full coverage concealer that not only looks like the infamous Tarte Shape Tape it acts like it too! It comes in 25 shades so you should be able to find a shade for you. The giant doe foot applicator is very similar to that of the Tarte Shape Tape so if you don't fancy splashing out almost £30 for a concealer, grab this little beauty for just £4.00! (Revolution have just released this concealer in a 'supersize' with 3 times more product for £7!)
Who doesn't love a Charlotte Tilbury Lipstick, but at £24 each they are definitely a luxury in your makeup collection. Save your pennies ladies because Revolution have produced an amazing range of lipsticks, very similar to the Charlotte Tilbury lippys, for just £4 each! With the Revolution Renaissance line you can now afford EVERY colour lipstick you can image in eye catching rose gold packaging for under a fiver each!
Let's make another visit to Anastasia Beverly Hills and their new Norvina Palette. Full of beautiful shades of pink and purple the Norvina palette, priced at £43 has been a big success for Anastasia. Revolutions new Reloaded Visionary palette has some very similar shades and is definitely worth trying at just £4 for 15 shadows. It's an absolute STEAL!
Finally let's take a look at foundation and for this dupe we are sticking (no pun intended!) with Anastasia (although Hourglass also make a stick foundation that is very similar) The Anastasia Stick Foundation (£25) comes in 26 shades and is said to have a 'natural matte' finish. The Revolution Fast Base Foundation comes in 18 shades with a variety of undertones. Easy to blend a build-able from lighter to full coverage this is a great addition to Revolutions product range!
So there you have it! My top 5 Revolution Beauty dupes. Revolution is a great British beauty brand and their pricing is so ridiculously inexpensive that even if you try and don't get along with a product you will not break the bank! I look forward to trying some of their new releases including the Conceal and Define Full Coverage Foundation and the Emily Noel 'The Wants' Palette.
