Recently I joined my parents, who were visiting from the UK, for a mini break at the beautiful Loews Portofino Bay Hotel at Universal Orlando Resort. Portofino Bay has stolen my heart and is my absolute favourite of all of the hotels on Universal property. Instead of giving you a full review of the hotel and it's facilities (there are so many of them online from people who can write way more eloquently than me!) I wanted to show you some of the lovely images that we shot at the resort and of course I will tell you a little about our stay too!

As you guys know I love to scour ebay for vintage dresses and bags to style with high street finds. As well as styling some of the Primark clothes and accessories that my Mam brought over from the UK I also found some really cute vintage dresses on ebay that I am wearing in these pictures.

Portofino Bay is a gorgeous hotel. The scenery is just amazing and the photo opportunities are endless. The proximity to the Universal parks is perfect and you can either walk (a 10 minute stroll) or take the water taxi to the entrance to the parks. When we were on our way back to the hotel one evening we spotted this amazing double rainbow over the hotel rooftops!

There are even vintage Vespas scattered around the bay so that you can pretend you are Audrey Hepburn in Roman Holiday!

We were very lucky to be gifted a beautiful plate of chocolate strawberries and a chocolate picture frame showing a view of Portofino - all completely edible! They were absolutely delicious! Thanks Portofino for this lovely surprise!
The first night of our stay we sat by the side of the bay at The Thirsty Fish and ordered wine and pizza to enjoy after a busy day in Universal Studios. The pizza was delicious and the evening was so peaceful and just perfect. I can highly recommend The Thirsty Fish for a more casual dining option at Portofino Bay.

I can highly recommend the beds! It was like sleeping in a cloud! When it was time to check out we didn't want to leave we'd had such a great stay. We reluctantly packed our bags and headed back home. I can guarantee we will all be back at Portofino Bay very soon!
