Legally Blonde The Musical 2018 Tour Review Sunderland Empire Theatre

Having seen Legally Blonde the Musical on no fewer than four previous occasions - three times in London's West End and once at the Sunderland Empire Theatre in 2011 - I was over the moon when a new tour was announced for 2017-2018 and it was heading back to the Sunderland Empire Theatre. I am a big fan of the show, based on the hit 2001 film starring Reece Witherspoon, and could happily watch it over and over again! The music is infectious and the book is funny and uplifting.

Last week my grandmother celebrated her 100th birthday. Yes, you heard right, she reached a full century on March 18th and celebrated as she wished, surrounded by family and friends who travelled in the unexpected snow to be with her on this momentous occasion.

Surviving A Long Haul Flight

Lets be honest, does anyone really like to fly long haul? If we could magically transport ourselves Star Trek style to our destination wouldn't we much prefer it? I am not too fussy when it comes to coffee shops, I simply ask that  a) it sells great coffee (of course!) and b) it is welcoming and comfortable. It didn't take me long to stumble upon Foxtail Coffee Co in the Winter Park area.

Topgolf Orlando Preview Day

I was lucky enough to be invited to a preview last weekend at the brand new Topgolf venue on Universal Boulevard, Orlando. The new Topgolf venue opens 20th October 2017 and I was very excited to be able to attend the preview!

I am the first to admit, I have never actually played a game of golf! The odd attempt at crazy golf is as close as I have gotten to golfing, therefore, I was very interested to see what Topgolf was all about and if it would appeal to a non-golfer like me.
