During our recent trip to Orlando we enjoyed many a leisurely brunch prior to a late start shopping or hanging out in the parks. These have been documented in our Orlando October 2016 vlogs however we really wanted to share them with you, our readers! If you are looking for a tasty brunch in Orlando then look no further than our top three brunch spots (in no particular order) as detailed below!
First Watch
First Watch
Plaza Venezia, Sand Lake Road, Orlando
First Watch is situated in the Plaza Venezia on the busy Sand Lake Road which is a place we have probably driven by a thousand times without realising this little gem is nestled there! The surroundings are fairly basic and 'no frills' and they serve a menu full of delicious sounding breakfast, lunch and brunch items as well as a menu of specials. When we visited, the specials were all fall themed and featured pumpkin pancakes and other pumpkin based treats! We skipped the pancakes and instead went for the very hipster avocado on toast and the Greek omelette while our other halves sampled the eggs benedict. The coffee was our favourite of all of the brunch cafes we visited and it was also plentiful with various creamers to accompany it including regular half and half, pumpkin and hazelnut. All of the food we tried was delicious and although the service was not as great as some of the other places we visited this was not enough to put us off and we brunched here twice this trip.
Peach Valley Café
5072 Dr. Phillips Blvd, Orlando
Peach Valley Café was another brunch café that we visited twice during our recent trip. Mimi and I had a girls brunch outing here while the husbands went to an Orlando City Football match and although it was Sunday and we had to wait for a table we did not have to wait too long. We sat outside and sampled the mimosas and coffee while we waited for our food - Greek omelette for me and the valley fiesta for Mimi. Both were delicious and very filling. The mimosas were refreshing and cool but I did wish they came in a slightly more 'Instagram-able' glass! (blogger problems!) We rated the breakfast potatoes as the best we tried during our trip and I enjoyed it so much I took Mr P there the following week where he tasted the eggs benedict and pronounced them delicious too! The surroundings are traditional and the service was great on both visits. To make our second trip even sweeter we had subscribed to the E-club online and subscribers are rewarded with a complimentary 1/2 portion of apple fritters with strawberry yoghurt dipping sauce. Yum!

Keke's Breakfast Cafe is a fave of Mr P. He loves their eggs benedict (he is a creature of habit!). Again, the surroundings are clean, comfortable and traditional and the service has always been great. My one complaint would be that their coffee is quite weak and not up to the standard of the coffee we were served in First Watch. Coffee grumbles aside, it is plentiful and the food is delicious. The portions are large and if you can polish off the pancake stack then you are a better woman than me! This trip I skipped the delicious pancakes and instead went for the Greek omelette (another creature of habit!) which was tasty and filling and came in a close second to the Peach Valley Greek omelette I'd sampled a couple of days before. That being said, Keke's is an excellent brunch venue choice and I doubt you'll be disappointed.
So there you have it! Three if our favourite brunch locations in Orlando. If you fancy a leisurely start one morning why not check one (or all!) of them out. We'd love to hear your thoughts.
