Max Mara Teddy Bear Coat: Get The Look For Less *UPDATE*

Ever since I first spotted it on the runway I have been obsessed with the gorgeous Max Mara Teddy Bear Coat. But lets face it, living in Orlando, a thick, warm teddy bear coat is never going to get much wear. Throw in the £1700 price tag and it was clearly out of the question! However when I booked to visit my family in England in February I knew I was going to have to invest in a coat to keep me warm in those freezing North East temperatures.

I love the look of a teddy bear coat so I took to the internet to track down a similar but more purse friendly version! I spent days searching online stores such at ASOS and New Look but nothing really caught my eye until I stumbled upon this amazing Max Mara lookalike from Ali Express! I have ordered items from Ali Express in the past and it's always a bit 'hit and miss'. The quality of the item very much depends on the seller and there are so many sellers that it's often difficult to choose! My tip would be to filter down to the reviews and check them out carefully!

I ordered the coat to be delivered to my family's UK address and it was there when I arrived. When I saw it I was over the moon! It is everything I hoped that I would be! Oversized, warm, snuggly and it looks so much like the Max Mara coat it would be difficult to tell them apart!

I admit, I am always on the lookout for designer dupes and I find so many really great 'inspired by' items on Ali Express, Shein, Romwe etc. There is always the possibility that the items will be low quality however that is the chance you take! I was so pleased with this coat! I wore it non stop during my UK visit and it is now sitting in my winter wardrobe in England for my next visit in Winter 2019!
