Max Mara Teddy Bear Coat: Get The Look For Less *UPDATE*

Ever since I first spotted it on the runway I have been obsessed with the gorgeous Max Mara Teddy Bear Coat. But lets face it, living in Orlando, a thick, warm teddy bear coat is never going to get much wear. Throw in the £1700 price tag and it was clearly out of the question! However when I booked to visit my family in England in February I knew I was going to have to invest in a coat to keep me warm in those freezing North East temperatures.

My Fashion Highlights of 2017

2017 was the year I moved permanently to Florida and as such, my wardrobe had to change somewhat to accommodate the warmer climate! While I can't say that I miss the good old British winter I do miss wearing cosy jumpers just a little bit! I wanted to look back on some of my favourite outfits of 2017 and I hope that you enjoy taking a look back with me! 

My Orlando Lookbook

Fashion is my absolute passion, having studied it at University and I am always excited to bring you style and fashion posts on our blog. I love scouring both online stores and shopping malls for clothes and accessories! A vacation is the perfect excuse to buy a whole lot of new clothes! (as if such an excuse were needed!). Here are some of the outfits I wore on my May trip to Florida. Wedding season is upon us one again and we don't know about you but we often struggle to find different choices for wedding guest outfits since they seem to bring out the same styles every year! Personally we always love a maxi dress or jumpsuit since you can look smart but still stylish. We went on the hunt and put together some of our favourite options to give you some outfit ideas! A wedding is all about the bride but wedding guests come in all ages and all sizes so we really wanted to give you some options whether you are 20 plus or 40 plus, size 10 or size 18. Lindy Bop Style At Universal Orlando Resort

Would you believe that until 2 months ago I did not even know that Lindy Bop existed! If you are like me, late to the party, let me fill you in. Lindy Bop is a vintage style online clothing store founded in 2011. They are quite unique in that they sell very affordable vintage style fashion in sizes ranging from UK 8-26...and did I mention that their sales are insane!! As well as selling in the UK and USA via their own online store they also sell via Debenhams and a handful of other boutiques.

If you watch our vlogs you will know how much we love Universal Orlando Resort and when we were preparing for our recent trip we really wanted to take some pictures using the amazing streets there! This area of the park has a very vintage feel with the New York style houses, old store fronts and parked cars so of course the first thing that came to mind was vintage dresses!
 

The Gingham Trend

The Gingham Trend is everywhere just now! The high street and online shops such as ASOS are jam packed with gingham, something that I'd only ever worn as my primary school summer dress! (hands up the blue gingham school dress wearers of the 90's!)

The Yellow Trend - Spring 2017

Yellow is a huge but somewhat unexpected trend this spring and a colour that can be notoriously difficult to wear. The good news is that there a lots of different shades of yellow out there so there should be a shade to suit everyone. Yellow is not a colour that I ordinarily gravitate towards being a blonde, so when I wanted to try the trend out for myself I was drawn to this lovely yellow and blue number from ASOS.  

The Spring Floral Sweater

Although it is starting to heat up in the UK we aren't ready to get out the sundresses just yet! This lightweight floral embroidered sweater from New Look is a perfect transition piece to add to your wardrobe this season. The muted pink colour and floral design means you can get into the Spring spirit without freezing in the process!

The Embroidered Jacket

As soon as I saw this River Island Trouble Maker Badge Jacket on the ASOS website I knew I had to have it! I am a sucker for anything black but I am trying to dive into the world of colour this spring and this jacket seemed like a great place to start! It is really great quality and very lightweight so perfect for the Spring/Summer season! (it's now on sale for £36 instead of £60 so snap it up quickly!!)

After seeing so many bloggers rocking the jumper dress and knee high boots look I was on the hunt for a really cosy oversized jumper dress to wear with my usual boots.

Winter in Pink

There are some beautiful winter fashion finds available right now and one of my favourite places to pick up pieces for my winter wardrobe has been ASOS. It doesn't seem to matter what I am looking for ASOS never disappoint. I love how I can shop for high street and online exclusive clothing and accessories in the same place. Two of my favourite current trends are metallic and pink and I have been wearing these trends so much this month!
