Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipcolor

We were pretty desperate to get our hands on the new Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipcolor when we first started to see them appear in USA beauty blogs and YouTube videos. We put them on our USA wish list as it seemed to take forever for them to be released in the UK! Finally these new releases appeared this week in our local Boots store! To say we were excited to see them is a bit of an understatement and we picked up three of our favourite shades, Seduction, Addiction and Devotion to test and review.

The packaging is very unique in shape and the pretty shades show through the frosted casing. The scent is described as 'creamy mango and whipped vanilla' however when we opened the product to swatch it the overwhelming scent is (in our opinion) neopolitan icecream! Yum!

The pigmentation is great and they apply very smoothly and evenly, however, if you are expecting a super matte dry lip product that doesn't budge you won't get that with the Revlon Ultra HD. Although they are definifely matte in texture they don't completely dry down are not totally smudge proof. This is fine by me as I am not a big fan of those drying matte lip creams! The formula of the Revlon Ultra HD makes them very comfortable to wear and easy to top up during the day if you need to. They definitely have the 'velvet matte finish' that they claim to have!
