We were in shock when we came across these little boxes of lipsticks at the Freedom stand in Superdrug. 5 Lipsticks in  a set for £5! We couldn't quite believe it! We decided to pick up a few of the sets, "Bare", "Now" and "Pink" so that we could sample the different shades and check them out for you!

Freedom is the sister brand of Makeup Revolution who have acquired a reputation very quickly of offering affordable makeup products without skimping on quality. Their aim is to be a Professional Makeup Brand offering pro-quality makeup products at affordable prices.

On the whole the lipsticks themselves are very good. They apply smoothly and are hydrating and glossy. However, as with most glossy lipsticks, this does mean they aren't quite as pigmented and require regular application throughout the day. The packaging of these lipsticks is quite substantial though, especially for £1 a lipstick!

The 'Now' Collection probably offers the most variety with a range of oranges, pink and deeper red shades. The 'Pink' Collection and 'Bare' Collection are a little samey in the shades on offer, especially the 'Bare' collection which has very little difference between some of the shades. That being said they are still definitely fantastic value and well worth a few pounds of your money!

For £5 for 5 Lipsticks in a variety of shades we would say these boxes are still 100% worth the spend!. Drug store products seem to be getting more and more expensive lately and we definitely need more brands like Freedom that offer great value for money and quality products like these lipsticks.
