Colour Pop Haul

For a long time I had been dying to try some ColourPop lip products but unfortunately they don't deliver to the UK.** Therefore when we were in Orlando recently I took the opportunity to make an order from the brand!

ColourPop is an online only brand and they sell a variety of of make up products from lipstick to highlighter but it was their liquid lipsticks I was most interested in! Especially after the whole Kylie Cosmetics/ColourPop whispers I had heard! Rumour has it that the Kylie products are actually manufactured in the ColourPop factory!

I admit, I did go a little crazy with the ordering however I feel that the very affordable price justifies the amount of  products I bought!

Sometimes I struggle to find decent and affordable drugstore lip products and the reviews I read were so good that I ordered 4 Ultra Matte Lip, 2 Ultra Satin Lip and 3 Lippie Stix.

The one annoying thing is picking shades! They have so much choice and a wide variety of colours however I was looking for mostly mauve brown shades. When they came it was even harder to tell them apart since they all look very similar in the tube but once they dry on the lips they are definitely different colours! I chose the shades (top to bottom) Tulle, First Class, Chilly Chilli and Limbo.

 

All of the shades are completely opaque and very thin in consistency. They are dry on the lips, there is no denying that! However I don't mind that feeling and believe me you can layer them all and they DO NOT MOVE. I mean ever! You literally have to scrub them off which is the only downside to this product (in my opinion)

 

The three shades of Lippie Stix that I ordered were (top to bottom) Lumiere (matte), Topanga (satin) and Brink (matte). They are all very beautiful and opaque colours and are very long wearing. There is a lot of product in the tubes unlike some similar packaged products I've had in the past. Disclaimer: I only ordered the shade Topanga because I am from the 'Boy Meets World' generation and the information said "You need this like Cory needs Topanga". How could I resist!

The two Ultra Satin Lips I ordered are the shades Frick'n'Frack and Tansy. I love both of these shades however I don't see much difference in the formula then the Ulta Matte lip products. They both are opaque and once they dry down they aren't going anywhere!

So what's the verdict? I LOVE all of these products! I can't believe the quality of the packaging and product considering the super affordable price! If you are able to get your hands on these lippys I would wholly encourage you to go for it! I can't wait to try more of their products especially their new Metallic Liquid Lipsticks! They are next on my list!
