Tarte Tartlette in Bloom Palette

Tarte Tartlette in Bloom Palette
Lets be honest, I need another eyeshadow palette like a hole in the head but when Fleur de Force showed the Tartelette in Bloom clay eyeshadow palette (£32.40 QVCUK.com) in her April favourites I was sold! Once we got to Orlando and hit Sepohora it was one of the first things I wanted to seek out. Unfortunately for my bank account it was as beautiful in person as it was online and it 'fell' into my basket!

The packaging is gorgeous! It feels very substantial and not at all flimsy as some, even high end, eye shadow palettes can feel. It also comes with a giant mirror which came in very handy when doing my make up on holiday. There are 12 eyeshadows in the palette and the pans are a good size (0.053 oz of product per pan). The name of the shades are written underneath the pan (dont you just hate it when the shade names are on those plastic sheets that you always lose!)

There are 9 matte shades and 3 shimmers. All have good pigmentation and lasted all day on me with the use of a primer. The palette is quite neutral which is my favourite kind of palette but the shimmer shades add a little extra something when creating a pretty eyeshadow look.

Since its purchase I have been reaching for this palette a lot and have loved the looks that can be created. It so versatile you can use it for a very natural daytime look or include the darker shades and shimmer for a more intense evening look.

The Tartelette In Bloom palette is currently available in the UK on QVCUK.com for £32.40, very comparable with the USA price of $45.

Love Elle x
