W7 Dupes Haul

Clockwise from top: Making Waves Eyeshadows, Honolulu Bronzer, Hollywood Bronze and Glow
After hearing a lot about the W7 brand of make up we thought it was time we gave it a go for ourselves! We live rather close to a Beauty Outlet that stocks many W7 products and we couldn't help but notice a lot of the products looked familiar!
We thought that testing out some of the "inspired by" items might be a good way to gauge what the rest of the brand is like. We went for the "Making Waves" Eyeshadow Palette, "Honolulu" Bronzer and "Hollywood Bronze and Glow" Palette.

Let us say straight away, all of these products are more than worth it in the value for money stakes, especially compared to their higher end counterparts!

Hollywood Bronze and Glow = Charlotte Tilbury Bronze and Glow

This product caught our eye immediately when we saw it sitting on the shelf due to how similar it is in design to the Charlotte Tilbury Bronze and Glow. We swatched it in store and were so surprised at how smooth and creamy the powders felt. Both shades in the palette are very similar to the original and it is certainly a great dupe! Our only criticism would be that is does not last as long on the skin but again for the price it is fantastic. We do wish the highlight shade was a little more shimmery but as excessive users of Champagne Pop by Becca we may have unrealistic expectations!

Honolulu Bronzer = Benefit Hoola Bronzer

As we worship at the altar of Hoola Bronzer by Benefit we had to give this one a go! This is very similar to Hoola although it isn't a perfect colour match. Hoola is more ashy and Honolulu is more red toned. The texture is almost exactly the same though and Honolulu is actually a little more pigmented than Hoola! It even comes with the same tiny brush which is so soft!

Making Waves Eyeshadow Palette = Hourglass Modernist Eyeshadow Palette
The Beauty Outlet had various colour options in this eyeshadow palette and we went for the rosey mauve coloured one. We did find that we had to dip back into the eyeshadows quite a lot to get the pigmentation we wanted but the colours were very pretty and blended well. We didn't wear a primer when testing the shadows so although they didn't last all day perhaps they would with a good primer.
It's worth mentioning that we haven't tried the original Hourglass eyeshadow palette. We did long for it when it was first released however after hearing a few not so great reviews, we decided to give it a miss which was why we were so excited to try this one!

We will 100% be back to the Beauty Outlet soon to purchase some more of the W7 inspired by products after trying these out! We were very impressed by the quality of the products and the amazing value for money they offer! W7 also have some amazing eyeshadow palettes that are remarkably similar to the Urban Decay Naked Palettes. They are perfect if you don't want to splash out on the real mccoy! Their entire range is very affordable and, in our opinion, perfect for teens experimenting with products for the first time. We would highly recommend trying some of their products out!

You can find W7 in The Beauty Outlet, Fragrance Direct and Amazon.

Have you tried any of the W7 products? What are your favourites?
