Lottie London Soap Star



We are huge fans of the Beauty Blender Blendercleanser Solid that we usually pick up in Sephora when in the USA (our favourite soap for cleaning our brushes and Beauty Blenders). However we do feel that there has been a gap in the market for a more affordable solid brush cleanser therefore we were very excited to see that Lottie London (a brand that are new to us) were releasing their very own version that would be available in Superdrug. With a cute name like 'Soap Star' we couldn't wait to get our hands on this in the hope that we could forgo the $20 price tag of the original and start to use this much more reasonably priced version for just £6.99. We are delighted to say that it is every bit as good as the more expensive version and pretty much identical!

Lets face it, washing makeup brushes is a major pain! (please someone invent some self cleaning brushes!!) so anything that makes it easier has got to be worth £6.99! If you haven't used a solid brush cleanser before you are in for a treat. It takes all of the effort out of washing your makeup brushes and sponges and you can complete the task in a fraction of the time. Simply give your brushes and sponges a swirl around on the soap, rub until clean and squeeze out the excess water. Lay them flat to dry and it really is as simple as that! The soap includes shea butter and coconut oil therefore it not only cleans your brushes it also keeps them nice and soft too!

We can safely say that we are now converts to the Lottie London Soap Star and can see this being a repurchase again and again. Now that we have discovered Lottie London we are also keen to try our some more products from the brand and are eyeing up their beautifully coloured makeup brushes! Watch this space!
