Freedom Pro Artist Pad Eyeshadow Palette

We were so excited when we were shopping recently and came across a Superdrug that stocks Freedom Makeup! Our local Superdrug stores unfortunately still don't stock the brand even after having recent make overs and as fans of its sister brand, Makeup Revolution, we have been very curious to try their products! The brand has such a a wide selection of products from skin care to lipsticks and we had to grab some products to try!

Advertised as a Pro Makeup Brand, Freedom state that they are a 'NEW Professional Makeup Brand to CHALLENGE and INSPIRE you and the MAKEUP WORLD' We were definitely interested in testing out those claims!

The first item we were dying to test out was their Pro Artist Pad Eyeshadow Palette, the packaging of which is very cute and designed to look like an iPad. The palette houses 48 shadows which we could not quite believe!. It also has a decent sized mirror inside and considering the number of eyeshadows it holds it is very portable. The palette has a good mixture of shimmers and mattes all in neutral wearable shades so we thought it would be ideal for everyday use and all for just £15! (yes that right £15 for 48 shadows - thats around 30p per shadow!)

As expected for such a low price some of the shadows are better quality than others. However, the shimmer shades are what really make this palette stand out. Some are so creamy, bendable and really pigmented we would swear that they were so much more expensive. Not all shadows are created equal however and a few of the shades are a little chalky and skip whilst applying. But, for the amazing price of £15, what more can you ask for?!

This palette really stands out because there is nothing else at the drugstore like it. 48 eyeshadows for £15 and the majority of which are good quality and very wearable...? Unheard of!

If you are a make up junkie we suggest you pick up this bargain palette very soon. We guarantee that you will not be disappointed. Freedom Makeup is available at selected Superdrug stores and direct from the Freedom website.

Review of some additional Freedom products we picked up in our recent haul coming soon!

Have you tried any Freedom Make up? What do you think?
